Hungry was co-created and is co-edited by Kyla Pascal and Kathryn Lennon. Kathryn is a poet and community food practitioner and Kyla is a planner and community organizer. The duo came together as two racialized women who have extensive experience in food system work and were interested in creating a project that highlights the work, voices and issues that they have found to be missing from “mainstream” food spaces. With that, they developed Hungry zine.
