Local Edmonton Poet, Saida Bar will be joining us for the evening.
Over the next few months, APIRG and the GBVPP will be hosting a queer book drive for the Edmonton Institute for Women (the prison). While all our events are free, if you would like to donate $5, $10, $15 or any amount, we will have a list of books we hope to purchase.
APIRG is located on Indigenous Territories and explicitly acknowledges that as we work towards identifying, challenging, and addressing intersections of oppression, it is critical to confront the ongoing practices of colonization of indigenous peoples and the land on which we live.
