DESCRIPTION:QTBIPOC Link Up is a closed space for racialized queer and trans folks. In speaking of queer solidarity and liberation we acknowledge and centre the praxis\, thought\, experience and perspectives of our Black\, Indigenous\, and people of color queer community members. This event is a closed space for Black\, Indigenous\, and People of Colour. We ask that you come into the circle with an open mind\, willingness to learn\, and recognition of your positionality through your own intersecting identities. \nQTBIPOC Link Up is a drop in space with some loosely facilitated convo and support available from the BIPOC Healing and Wellness Centre staff. \nThe event will facilitate a conversation around local community organizing\, decentering whiteness in queer spaces and in community organizing. \nWhile this is the first meet-up it won’t be the last!
